  Guess what the weather forecast is for tomorrow?  Ice pellets and snow!  Gahhh!  This spring, winter spring thing we are having is getting to me.  I don’t like the spring, that is when my sleep patterns get all messed up.  That is when I am constantly too cold then too hot.  I need a good sleep and I am tired of going to bed cold and waking up in the middle of the night in a pool of sweat or waking up frozen after falling asleep comfortable.  I say STOP!  I like having different weather as much as the next guy but I don’t want to visit all four seasons in a single week.

Morning Mojo!

So you envy those nutty people that workout in the morning and arrive at work all chipper and ready to go.  Well I am one of those people most of the time.  Sometimes I lose my morning mojo, but I am determined to get it back.  It just makes everything else easier!! I’m working on getting myself to the pool for 5AM from now on.  I did it in the past with great success and even now when I do accomplish it I feel much better and have less pain from my injuries.  It seems I have lost some of my early morning mojo.  I Wake up on time but I don’t get up!  I bargain and make promises to myself and change my mind.

Bet this title got your attention.  I wonder if I can get my site on a banned list this way. Todays topic is sleep.  Keep reading long enough and I will get to the hot tub.  I have had trouble sleeping for more than 30 years.  What do I do about it?  Well for years I did nothing.  I generally felt OK during the day with 4 to 6 hours sleep so I didn’t worry about it.  Generally I fall asleep at my usual time just fine and wake up 2 to 3 hours later to go to the bathroom.  This is when the problem begins.  I am wide awake.  I usually read for 2 to 3 hours and then sleep lightly for another 2 hours.  Again I am wide awake and running out of time to get more sleep.  If it is the weekend I can read for a few hours and take another 1 hour nap.  If it is a weekday there is no more sleep.
